Bella Italia is a long standing restaurant in Southend having been there for many years whilst other restaurants come and go. Its longevity is probably in part to the high quality, consistently good Italian cuisine - from pastas, to pizzas and calzone, with garlic, prawns, tomatoes, olives, cheeses and all that good stuff that make your mouth water, followed up by good coffee. Having eaten at Bella Italia many, many times, I'm always pleased by what I eat - it's not fancy food, but it's good, every time. It's not going to surprise you - but it's also not going to let you down. Bella Italia is good Italian food - and if that's what you're looking for, you can't go wrong.
